田園グレースチャペルは、2001年秋に横浜のレイバーマン家で９人でささげた日曜礼拝からスタートしました。以来、主にあって成長し続けているキリスト教会です。現在は川崎市高津区で、川崎／横浜エリアを対象に教会活動をしています。イエス様の十字架によって救われ、神様の家族となったことを感謝し喜びながら、神様、家族、教会、社会を愛し、仕え、主の恵みあふれる教会となっていくことができる様に祈りつつ、教会の働きをしています。
田園グレースチャペルはCB Family「保守バプテスト同盟」というグループに属しています。保守バプテスト同盟の諸教会は、1943年に米国で設立されたConservative Baptist Foreign Mission Society（保守バプテスト海外宣教協会）にルーツを持つ、プロテスタントのキリスト教会です。日本では、戦後間もない1947年、米国から遣わされた宣教師達によって日本における保守バプテストの宣教活動が始められ、東北地方を中心に各地に教会が設立されました。現在は東北、関東、九州地方に約80の教会があり、働きを拡大しています。
田園グレースチャペルは、神の家族としての豊かな交わりを大切にしています。神の子どもとして共に成長し、共に礼拝し、学び、励まし合いながら、主によって変えられ成長していく姿をもって、この世界に神様の福音を証ししていきたいのです。そしてあなたとも知り合い、共に主の家族として共に歩んでいくことを祈っています。私たち教会の心のドアは、あなたに対して大きく開かれています。あなたがこれまで自分の居場所を求め、探し、祈ってこられたのだったら、もう一度言わせてください。「ようこそ、田園グレースチャペルへ！あなたのおいでを待っていました。心から歓迎します！

We’ve been waiting for you! It’s true. We believe that every person who comes into the circle of this special fellowship was sent by God Himself. He leads, loves and works in each one of us. So, above all else we want to express Christ’s love to you with genuine, heartfelt warmth. We are eager to know you, and we’re excited to share with you all the ways God is working in HIS church here in Kawasaki, Japan.
Denen Grace Chapel began in the fall of 2001 in the Laverman home in Yokohama, Japan, with a half dozen Christians in attendance. Since then the church has grown steadily, and is a part of a fellowship of churches called the Conservative Baptist Association in Japan.
The Conservative Baptist Association, a Protestant denomination with evangelical roots, was formed out of a world missions movement among Baptist churches in America in 1943. In 1947, during the early days of post-World War II Japan, American missionaries began church planting work in northern Tohoku which soon became the Conservative Baptist Association in Japan. Currently, the growing church association includes around 80 churches in Tohoku, Kanto, and Kyushu.
Denen Grace Chapel is a family, rich in the relationships that matter most. As God’s children, we grow together, we worship, we serve, we laugh, we cry, we learn, and we reach out to our world with life-transforming truth and helping hands. We reach out to you, as well, regardless of where you grew up or what language you speak. Our doors are open. Our hearts are open, too. If you’ve been thinking, praying, searching, and hoping for a place to belong, we say again, “Welcome to our church family. We’ve been waiting for you!”
